Dear Parents,

My hope is to turn the stress your child might be experiencing at high school, especially during the college application process, into feeling excited about their future. From my own experience, the overwhelming sense of competition and pressure became counter-productive. As a college essay tutor and writing advisor, I have developed a program that fosters a healthier environment for students to discover what is unique about how they think and their point of view. We focus on redefining success through values like integrity, creativity and resilience — rather than just academic metrics. We prepare the students for their life at college so that they work out what they want from it. 

My career as a playwright, TV writer and actress is all about storytelling. I have learned how to grab the reader’s attention and keep them fixed to the page. During our one-on-one sessions, we find the most interesting way to tell their story. Often students don’t realize themselves what’s so fascinating about them!
